The Quest For Stillmania

The 'Forever Armies'

Have you found the salvation that is Stillmania?

Greetings and salutations brothers and sisters of the great hobbyist community. I have been fascinated by fantasy since childhood and my dabblings in the Old World of Warhammer in the early 90's were resparked as a full grown man in my early(ish) 30's.

In a handful of years I amassed quite the collection. However, my ADHD coupled with various personality traits meant I have collected miniatures from a wide range of races. Trying to juggle my fascination with such a variety of armies meant the collection continued to grow until it spiralled into something I barely had control over.

By the time I realised the problem that I was creating for myself... it was far too late. I had lost the true joy that collecting had previously brought me, with a blurred reality of what was possible for me to take on and commit to. I eventually realised that I would need to find a way to fight back. It was time to change my hobbyist mindset.

I began to trade and sell excess in order to slim down my collection. However, despite being able to cull a few budding projects... my heart was still in the majority of my planned concepts. The solution? STILLMANIA!

Small armies made from sculpts that I genuinely admire, minimum duplicates and every single unit / character to have background fluff bespokely written for them in order to fortify their prestige and belonging, their sentimental value and of course to help chronicle all manner of battlefield exploits that will unfold in the decades that I (hopefully) have left on this mortal plane.

If you too feel like you are drowning in your pile of shame, that plastic (or metal) is quite genuinely your addictive vice, if your attic now resembles a city of skyscraper boxes, if your loved ones are pulling you up on unreasonable and selfish expenditure... well my son, my daughter, please fear not; Stillmania will set you free...
